I have a spec spot for Comedy Central on my reel and Viacom claimed it violates their copyright so YouTube took down my whole reel and aded a strike to my account! I did use their logo and name in the VO, but otherwise all the footage is mine.
Do spec spots have any rights?
Has this happened to you and how did you resolve it?
