We're adding more info to the FAQs but here it is:

SPOTS - RATING
Top rated spots are determined by the average rating from 1-5 with 5 being highest. (Top rated spots are not determined by number of hits or views.)
For instance, if 10 people view a spot and each rate it a "5" it would be rated higher than 20 people watching a spot and rating it a "2".

Rules for rating spots:
You must be a member and logged in to rate a spot.
A member cannot rate his own work.
A spot can only be rated once by each member.

MEMBER - RATING
Top rated members are determined by how many of their peers have recommended them as collaborators.
Note: Recommending collaborators is ONLY for people you’ve hired or worked with on a job (and would work with again.)
