Hello,
my VFX team just got a wicked-cool opportunity and had to postpone my next spotlab project, a :30 for Helio Phones. We're on an incredibly tight deadline, and so I'm trying to find a replacement VFX team that might be able to start next week.
In a nutshell, the spot follows a skater kid around Venice as he uses his GPS-enabled phone to plan his route. The map icons, specifically the direction arrow and destination icons, will be seamlessly integrated into the real-world environment, creating a blend of documentary-style and VFX.
I've already shot the spot on 35mm and it looks fantastic. A few of the shots have tracking markers, the rest have enough hard angles from buildings that it shouldn't be too difficult to get a good track.
I'm looking for a team (or one man wrecking crew) that can track 7 shots, design and animate a couple simple 3D objects, and then composite those objects into the 7 shots.
Additionally, I am looking for someone to re-create a mobile GoogleMaps screen on a cell-phone and then composite that into three screen-replacement shots.
WHEW! It's a lot. but I do have a small budget, enough for a real-world rate for a week, or a half-real-world rate for 2 weeks.
Please check out my first two spots! They'll give you some idea as to the high-end level that I work. I'm into people who want to build their reel, as long as there are a few hot things on it already!
Thanks for your consideration and looking forward to your response.
Best,
